NO RESERVE My son ad I are selling off our projects. We rescued this car as the owner who imported it from Sicily wanted to get rid of the car due to rust. He was going to sell it to a scrap dealer. We have a clear title. This car has rust in the floors and other areas. I do not know enough about Lancia Flavia's to know if the rust is terminal. Please ask any and all questions and we will do our best to answer. We have owned this car for many, many years and it has followed us through multiple moves. We were able to get the car running before we parked it, about three years ago, and were even able to flush and get the complicated brake system working. We parked the car under our carport under a cover. It is need of a total restoration. When we last checked the engine turned with a wrench but the wheels were frozen. The car is carbureted, not fuel injected. It is our hope that someone will restore this car or use the parts to fix another one. The car has rust in it - Neither my son or I are experts, but there seems to be rust in the floors, the hood hinges and other areas that are covered by black tape in the photos. On Jan-12-14 at 14:33:08 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE CAR IS TITLED AS 1965... I CONFUSED THIS CAR WITH OUR MGA WHICH IS A 1961. THE LANCIA IS A 1965. AFTER GOING OVER THE CAR THE RUST APPEARS TO BE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE DOORS AND IN THE RIGHT CORNER AND FLOOR WHERE THE FENDER MEETS THE DOOR. I AM NOT AN EXPERT BUT THE SUBFRAME ATTACHMENT AREA DOES NOT SEEM TO BE AFFECTED. THE MOTOR DOES NOT TURN OVER AND THE TRANSAXLE IS NOT SHIFTING - THE CAR WILL NEED TO BE MOVED WITH OUR GOJAKS OR SIMILAR IF ANY OF THIS INFORMATION AFFECTS AN EXISTING BID PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THE HINGE AREA BY THE HOOD DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RUSTY, I PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED IT WAS.On Jan-14-14 at 08:07:06 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: there is a rust hole in the driver's side floor at the front but it does not appear to have affected the suspension mounting point.
