One 1989 Honda FL400R Pilot ATV Pictures show it all. Machine is in great condition. The unit does not come equipped with an odometer so I do not know mileage thus the 9s in the mileage column. It has never been registered in Iowa. The previous owner used to take it to California so it has old Cali tags on it. It will be sold AS IS. FEATURES; Water Cooled. No leaks. Runs cool. Reverse. Engagement perfect. Electric Start. Works great. Reliable. No problems. MODIFICATIONS; * Fresh top end one oversize from stock, Bills exhaust system, carburetor re-jet (richer). This work completed 2 years ago. 160 psi. Stock carburetor. * New Aluminum Wheels. ITP rear and Douglas fronts. Same off-set as stock. * New Tires Front And Rear. MAINTENANCE; * New rear drive axles. * Completely rebuilt front and rear brake systems then filled with full synthetic Dot 5 fluid. They are spot on. * Fresh engine overhaul with first oversized piston. Lots of power. This is a belt driven unit and weight is evenly distributed. It does not lift the front end from a dead stop. It does however, smoke the tires. * New battery. Maintenance free Yuasa. * Air box is freshly serviced. * Has only ever been run on premium pump fuel (91-92 octane). Compare this machine to others offered. It is modified, well maintained and reliable. There is no brag here, just fact. These are fantastic in wide open spaces or on a controlled course. ATTENTION: This is not a kids toy nor is it for an inexperienced rider. It will get away from you if you are. There are laws that govern selling atvs to youth under 16 years old without an atv riders course. Don't be a redkneck with a big ego and kill your kid.
