Up for auction is a super clean and straight, all original Trans Am. This car is a textbook example of what an Arizona car is. Straight body, all panels line up very well. Paint buffed out really nice and still shines well. Unfortunately there are some chips and a few bad spots where decals have been applied over the years. The factory graphics are still in good shape with the exception of the rocker behind the drivers door. The interior is exceptional for a 30 year old car. No rips or fading in the seats and the carpet is in great shape. Good dash pad in the car as well. The console does need help. It is cracked in on spot and the armrest door is broken. The black vinyl is still good, but the hinge has broken off and the button is gone. Has power driver's seat with a new seat switch from Classic Industries just put in($120). Power windows also work fine. All the glass is good with the exception of the windshield which is intact, but cracked. Car has decent rubber and the factory wheels are in great shape! Just added a set of GM Restoration center caps which finish off the wheels well. The hood struts have been replaced as well and the pop up headlights work perfectly! I had this car up on the rack overnight with another car under it covered with a white drop cloth and there were ZERO drips of any kind from the TA. This car also spent a day outside in an all day rain(rarity for Arizona) and there was no water coming in form the T Tops or anywhere else. I've ran this car fairly hard and it runs great! Excellent throttle response, shifts well and runs cool! Very fun car to drive, which is hard for a Fox Body guy to say! This car is as clean and as straight as it gets for a 30 year old F body. Would be the perfect start for any type of restoration or build. Or just pop out the T Tops, pop in your favorite Iron Maiden tape and let the breeze blow through your mullet! This car is running and drivable and is fully functional. Will work with shipping/able to bring it to a dock if need be. I noticed in the pic of the console that the bezel that goes around the radio and HVAC controls is off. That piece is intact and comes with the car. Thanks!
