Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 2 Owner 1975 Triumph TR6 with the same owner the last 30 years. Carmine Red over Beige leather interior, matching the VIN plate with paint code 82 and trim code 74 (see photo) and exactly as would be documented on the official British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate. This is a good original, low mileage TR6 that is ready to be shown or driven. This particular TR6 is in good overall condition as can be seen by the photos. It is not a fresh restoration but an original car that has been driven, maintained and even upgraded along the way. The exterior of the car (paint, chrome and glass) are all in outstanding condition. The Paint itself is essentially flawless being the result of a very high quality bare metal respray many years ago. It shines like new with nary a blemish to be found. The car has always been and remains absolutely rust free in every respect. Comes as well with all of the original weather equipment (black convertible top, black tonneau cover and beige convertible top boot). Both the tonneau cover and the convertible top boot are the factory originals with the BW(E) and FMVSS manufacturer stamps on the back. All are in very good condition with no rips or tears in the vinyl with the soft top windows still clear and very presentable (see photos). The interior of the car (seats, cockpit, carpet, door panels and dash) are also in very good condition. The wood dash and vinyl trim parts both show some light cracking but contribute to a nice overall interior patina. Even comes with the period correct AM/FM radio still installed. Mechanically the car runs and drives well. Starts easily due to a complete and recent tune-up as well as an Allison coil and electronic ignition. Additionally it sounds great due to the newer dual sport exhaust. Clutch, Transmission and Brakes are all working exactly as they should. With the recent tune-up you can be confident knowing that it is ready for the road. All 5 painted steel wheels and trim rings are in good condition while riding on Yokohama size 195/60/15 all season tires with plenty of tread. The spare itself still retains the original Michelin redline tire (see photo) Included as well are a car cover, brand new set of Triumph logo floor mats, original manuals and miscellaneous Triumph catalogues. Please ask all questions prior to bidding and do not bid unless you intend to buy. Vehicle is being sold as is where is with no warranties either expressed or implied. A $2,000 non-refundable purchase deposit is due within 2 days of the close of the auction.
