Up for auction is my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 69,392 Miles VIN#2W87K9N175856 I bought this car about 15 years ago from a friend who was also the original owner. He signed over the title to me(undated) at that time and I never ended up getting it titled in my name. It has an Illinois title if it matters and also has the full build sheet and original owners manual. I had planned on doing a full restore on this car and getting the title transferred when it was finished. Well....3 kids and 15 years later it is still in my garage! It has been in my garage since I have had it....never stored outside. It originally had the Olds 403 in it but me and some friends swapped that out for an Olds 455 with a bigger cam in it....more power! I bought the Olds 455 engine and trans off a guy that restores cars for a hobby in his retirement....I rode around in his car that the 455 was in before he pulled it out. It ran great and had plenty of power. We pulled the 403 and dropped in the 455...thats about where I stopped...just short of hooking up the headers and driveshaft.I pretty much ran out of time and money for this car. I hate to sell it but it's been 15 years and it is still in the garage. The 403 ran fine when I pulled it out...I just wanted a Big Block in there! I detailed the condition of the car with many many pictures to give you an idea of what it will probably need done and what comes with it.There are also alot of extra parts that come with the car. Original Olds 403 and trans goes with the car! This does have the original spare tire and stock radio....the dash is in very nice condition--no cracks!Please look at the many pics to see the extra parts you are getting also. This will obviously need to be trailered back to your house or shop. A $600.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of winning this auction.
