The suspension has been heavily modified to handle its jump scene. Each front wheel consists of 3 shocks per wheel, the rear has 2 per side, the differential was also supported so it wouldn't bend.The truck is very solid with new tires and wheels but has its "Movie Make Up" to look rusted, as it was to look like an old country truck. The interior has been reupholstered and has new carpet. It features a 6 cylinder engine with 4 speed manual transmission. It was a very recognizable part of the movie and was driven by the main character and star of the movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Runs and drives, being the close up car it did not sustain heavy abuse. Great conversation/show piece for people to see the movie modifications and a rare opportunity to own a piece of Hollywood history from one of the most popular movie series of our time. A lot of detail went into creating the dusty dirty illusion. All the rust, dirt, and even paint chips are painted on, there is even painted on tar behind the wheels. It was purchased from the Volo Auto Museum in Illinois and comes with documentation from them.
