Vehicle Detail

2003 Honda Odyssey 5DR EX168k mi. one-owner, never smoked in Well maintained Transmission replaced by Honda at 70k Timing belt, water pump, belts and hoses done at 153k NOTE This Odyssey is on offer locally at the buy-it-now price. Since I make it a point to price my listings to sell, this jewel could be gone faster than a fifth of tequila at a fraternity beach party. So l encourage you to bid early and often or hit the buy it now button and end the suspense. I am an engineer with 35 yrs auto-industry experience and the 'go-to car guy' in an enormous family (9-sibs, 82 first cousins--just on dad's side)! My principal activity is finding, re-conditioning, buying and selling cars, trucks and motorcycles for family and friends. I've been an eBay motors seller for over 10 yrs and enjoy a good rating by providing all relevant information, comprehensive photos and service histories. About this OdysseyThis car belongs to a friend who has had it from new. It has been the family daily driver, regularly serviced with no issues other than needing tires. (2 drive position tires have some miles left in them but the rear’s are done). So barring a November blizzard this car could be safely driven anywhere. This Odyssey has remarkable safety features for 2003--front & side airbags, 4-wheel disk antilock brakes (most US makers were still fitting drum brakes at the rear). Honda was definitely early to the party with the traction control system (TCS) which is especially important on long-wheel base vehicles that can haul 7 passengers. TCS senses wheel slippage and automatically pulses the brakes at the slipping wheel to keep a minor skid from starting a revolution that you don't want to be part of. This makes the Odyssey one of my "recommended for young drivers" choices. (Plus, millenials hate mini-vans cause they aren't cool so maybe mom and dad can actually use the car themselves while Tiffany and Fletcher shag rides in their friends WRX's).Features and Condition Detailselectric sliding side doorsfront & SIDE airbagslower anchors and tethers for childrentraction control system4-wheel anti lock disk brakesfull sized sparecruise controlfactory stereo with cd AND casette7 passenger seatingconvertible 2nd row bucket seats retractable 3rd row "magic seat" stows flat flip up tray with 4 cup holders between the front seatslots of cubby space Very solid van which starts, shifts, drives and stops smoothly with all equipment working as expected includingUnder the hood is tidy reflecting regular servicing and the underside is surprisingly clean showing only the normal level of surface corrosion consistent with mid-west driving. Note I provide photos of the underside of the vehicle--something most sellers (including dealers) are either too lazy to provide or would rather you not know what’s going on down there? Exhaust is solid and quiet. The interior reflects life with 2 kids with the carpets showing some stains--the most prominent of which is fortunately under one of the rear seats. No major rips or tear’s . The grab handle on the inside of tail gate is untethered at one end, there is a small ding in the bottom center of the tailgate. One of the passenger seat armrests was broken in a furniture moving project. The body is very clean with only a few surface paint blisters showing up on the front door bottoms and at panel edges adjacent to the plastic bumpers. Paint on body panels appears to be all original, plastic bumpers have been touched up. Front bumper skin has a crack in center below license plate. These rugged 6 cylinder motors are very durable when serviced regularly. Note how many Odyssey listings show up with 300k miles and higher. About the Seller: Please note my feedback and understand that I make a living by providing accurate descriptions of the vehicles I list for family, friends and estates. I am not a dealer but in compliance with eBay’s requirements, I have clear title and the authority from the owner to complete the transaction. I will gladly provide any additional details you may require to make an informed bidding decision. 3rd party inspections are welcome. Also note that I include pictures of the underside of the car--where much the money gets spent on used cars--but information that most sellers apparently would rather not share with you. If you’re new to my auctions note my operating procedures and buyer expectations: I’ll tell you everything I know or can discover about the vehicle. I won’t say ‘too many items to list’--I’ll just list them till I get to the end, how’s that for full disclosure? I’ll respect your time by answering questions the same day and expect you to respect my time by being prepared to pay what you bid. Scammers? Take a look down below and you may want to pass by this auction. One guy who snagged my e-mail is probably still trying to figure out how he got 250,000 messages about aluminum siding and free ginzu knives back in his mail. (It helps having a friend with a pHd in computer security). Note to Bidders: Feedback less than 10? You must send me an e-mail with your phone number so we can discuss my terms and conditions. If i don’t hear from you before you bid, expect to have your bid cancelled. Note to Scammers: Don’t even think about it! I do not do bundled shipping. I don’t care if you are in the merchant marine or your late dad was the late president of Sri Lanka--if you don’t have a PayPal account we aren’t doing business, period. And furthermore, please practice your English on more gullible sellers. The boiler rooms you guys call from are so noisy these days I can hear your buddies in the background asking the same stupid scammer questions: “So why are you selling this ‘item’…” I welcome legitimate international bidders and have sent vehicles to Europe and the middle east but please contact me before bidding to discuss your shipping plans. About the Seller I am a mechanical engineer with 40 yrs experience in the vehicle industry aftermarket. I’ve raced, toured, modified, repaired and restored motorcycles and cars as a lifetime activity. I sell vehicles for friends and family. I take full responsibility for my descriptions and enjoy a good reputation by making sure there are no surprises at delivery. I am not a dealer so there are no, junk fees, no free TV’s, and no suspenseful consultations with “the sales manager” (that’s me)! Fly into Cleveland (CLE) or Akron Canton (CAK) and I’ll pick you up in your new airport limo! Of course, we all know that any used vehicle may or may not do what you or I expect it to do and as such is sold as-is where-is with no warrantees expressed or implied.
