Vehicle Detail
1949 Chevy COE. Cab Over. Flatbed/car carrier. RARE truck. Built in 2004 on a 1977 Chevy C30 chassis. 350 chevy engine with a turbo 350 trans. 19' Alum diamond plate bed with head board and 2 side tool boxes. 8K lb winch with corded remote control. Alum wheels. New front tires, rear tires are 50%. Pull out ramps. Runs and drives fine even at 70 mph. If you like attention you will like this truck, it always get looks and thumbs up when people drive by. The truck is not 100% but it is priced accordingly. Cab is solid with a few areas that have been filled and have cracked. Doors are solid. Easy to remove vinyl stickers on the doors. Leather heated power seats. Interior unfinished so you can customize as you like. It has a windshield visor that is not painted and not installed yet. New battery and all new bed lights. It could use door and window weather strips. Updated white gauges. Odometer reads around 1900 miles and was started at 0 when the truck was built in 2004. I bought the truck with 750 miles on it. Right now it needs front rotors which I will replace when using the BIN. Driven less than 2000 miles since it was built. Built and titled in Wisconsin as a 1949 Chevy truck VIN 5TP1001. I purchased this truck in March in WI and drove it 1000 miles to MA. Other than a flat tire there were no issues. Use the BIN: ONLY $17,999 ~I will install new front rotors. ~I will deliver it within 150 miles for free Or I will give $200 back towards airfare. (Albany NY airport is 1 hr away) ~I will give you a $100 gas card Stop by and check it out and take a test drive. A $300 deposit is due via PayPal within 24 hrs of the end of the auction and the balance due in cash or bank check within 3 days. No exceptions!!!, unless prior arrangements are made with me. I can store the truck for up to 2 weeks once its paid for in full. Anyone with less than a 10 feedback rating MUST contact me before bidding or your bid will be canceled. This truck is being sold in as-is cond. The truck is for sale locally so the miles may be more and the auction may end early Feel free to ask questions. I will respond within a few hrs. If the truck doesnt sell I may consider partial trades. On Nov-17-13 at 09:44:42 PST, seller added the following information: The bed actually measures 18' not 19' as listed above. 11'-6" of flat deck and 6'-6" of angled deck. The bed measures 94" wide. The dual exhaust tips stick out 4" on each side The overall length of the truck is about 25'-3" I was told that the engine was rebuilt when the truck was built but I have no proof of that. It was tuned up last month and runs fine There are some oil drips on the garage floor when the truck sits overnight. The O ring in the trans tube drips trans fluid a bit also. On Nov-19-13 at 17:16:42 PST, seller added the following information: I have uploaded a few underneath and interior pictures to http://s1137.photobucket.com/user/saint4848/media/Int2.jpg.html I had a mechanic look at the front rotors and he suggested that I just have them turned instead of changing them which I will do tomorrow. The transmission pan leak was leaking from the gasket so I am having him install a new gasket and filter. He did say that the oil drip (as I mentioned above) is from the area around the oil pan gasket, if he has time he will change it but no guaranty he can
