This is my baby. I am out of work and lost my garage storage (Lebanon, Indiana ) since father in law died and must get car out of garage. Last plated in Indiana in 2003. This is a rare 1970 Red AMX with original 360 V8 4 bolt main engine and Borg Warner Super T10 four speed as far as I know. This was a match up to a Muncie rock crusher. Car is located 60 miles North from where I live. 3.55 Posi rear end. The motor has its second rebuilt Motorcraft factory carb that is crap. 1970 went to motorcraft from Carter AFB used in 1969. Gas leaks out of bowl and drains right into intake manifold. What this engine needs is an Edelbrock 4 barrel which is a Carter AFB. That is a factory whale tail rear spoiler and reprodution front spoiler. The only major rust I am aware of is the right rear quarter, shown in a picture. This car had an older restoration with PPG and clear coat I was told. This car has been stored since 2003 and ran good when put away. The brakes are filled with DOT 5 silicone fluid. Engine ran strong but I aways thought it could use a rebuild and probably has 115,826 miles and used a little oil. This is a working ram air hood but the aftermarket trim scoups need to be fitted. That is the factory black C stripe. Gas gauge and temp gauge sometimes work and may have to do with 12v to 6v converter for instument panel. The gas tank needs to be resoldered at the filler neck because it leaks when full. Old aftermarket radio worked with Kraco speakers. The interior is in good shape and had been replaced years ago. I have a factory Edelbrock over the parts counter AMC intake the needs to be bead blasted. The engine has factory aluminum valve covers. Battery was replaced about 18 months ago and car started last summer. Gas is now stale. Tires have plenty of rubber and hold air forever. This car has a rare louvered backglass shade. Buyer is responsible for all pickup and delivery from Lebanon, Indiana Don't expect to drive car home with bad carb and old gas. I decided to not put reserve price and low starting bid price. I can't be any more fair than this and I don't sugar coat vehicles. Don't bid if you don't have the money .
