Rare 1966 Chevrolet Caprice with a 396. What makes this car very rare is the fact that it still has the original split bench seat in the front. Floor boards, undercarriage, sidewalls, trunk and frame are all in excellent shape. Car runs and drives. Car was purchased and owned in Florida since 1998, currently residing in NY as of the end of 2013 summer. Please feel free to contact for additional information. In 1966 the Caprice was dropped from the Impala series to become its own line. The Impala was still the biggest seller even though the Caprice was now the most top model. The Caprice was a deluxe Chevrolet with a color accented body striping. It had front fender and deck signatures, wide-ribbed body sills, wrap around rear taillights, special Caprice wheel covers, and more.
