Well after 2 years of ownership of this beautiful car, I am selling her due to a new horse in the stable,so says the wife! I bought this car on the BB in August of 2011 and it has been a blast to drive. I have put over 4000 miles on the car since the purchase. I will walk through the history and the updates made on it.For those not aware they created 150 Maratonas for the US market in 1984 only.I am the 4th caretaker of this carThe car started its life in Aug 1984 from Globe Auto Imports ,Alfa dealer in south Florida.It stayed in S Florida through May 1997 when it was sold to its 2nd owner with aprox 62,00 miles. I have the maintenece records from the original owner.The car moved to Georgia in 1997 and stayed with the owner though 2005 when it was purchased by the third owner in South Carolina. I have records from this owner also.The 3rd owner moved to Texas and did extensive work upgrading this car see the attached threadhttp://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/alfa...na-1984-a.htmland the rebuild he didhttp://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/alfe...a-rebuild.htmlI purchased the car with 84000 miles and since then have put in the past 1,000 miles a new leather interior from world upholstery,new master clutch cylinder, new slave cylinder, new radiator, new brake fluids super dot4, new 50/50 radiator fluid,new fans,new ac recharge(ice cold),new thermostat,new colds start fuel injector,new 16 in tires, new pro racing rims,new oil sendor unit, new battery,new air filter,fuel filter,For the purists, I have the original metric rims,wood grain steering wheel,rad fans,stalk switch,dist cap,head light brackets, rear license plate filler panel,Additional parts,new starter,new fuel pump, clear hood scoop,IAP radiator fans,custom window scree, tool kit,oil filters, fuel filter,master cylinder clutch.ISSUES with the car:Temp gauge sticks sometimes, front ground effects has minor scuff, windows are slow when you are at idle speed.This car rides,runs, smells and looks like a new car. Zero rust,its been a fair weather car for me.
