Vehicle Detail
1998 Porsche Boxster - Winter Sport Package Arctic Silver Boxster 5 speed with black leather interior, with matching exterior hardtop (3k option) with defroster. Heated side mirrors, upgraded 5 speed shifter and e brake with silver accents ($700 option). Stainless steel Boxster door sills ($600 option). Great sounding German Becker stereo/cd with upgraded speaker/storage box on rear deck ($600 option). Upgraded rear tailights with the newer Europeon style half red/half silver ($500 option). Mileage is just over 70k and it runs perfect and strong. Always maintained. Very well maintained and cared for seeing no snow and little rain. Always garage kept and covered in the winter months. I am the 3rd real owner. The 1st owner of the car was a 3 year lease owner. The car history states 4 owners but the 2nd owner was a car broker. The 2nd real owner was a BMW salesman who soon after purchasing was told that he needed to drive a BMW to work so the car got little to no use. I purchased the car in 2002 with 39k miles on it. KBB value is $11,684. Toyo Proxes T1S tires on the front with Toyo Proxes T1R on the rear. Rear tires about 65% with fronts about 70%-75%. Oil always changed with Porsche filters and Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Includes 2 Porsche remote keys and 1 valet key. All books and manuals. I have also included a complete parts manual from Porsche which is useful for finding the exact part numbers for any part and all receipts for items I purchased and used to maintain the car. Low reserve for a car this nice. No, I have not replaced the main bearing that people have emailed me about. Porsche service has never indicated to me any issues with the main bearing that need attention. I have set the reserve at $1600 below the KBB value. The car is in perfect running condition and needs nothing.
