1966 Volvo 1800 S For sale by the second owner, this is a rust-free and well-maintained 1800 S with lots of original literature, and the rare dealer option of Volvo air conditioning. Literature includes the original dealer invoice, original owner's Volvo I.D. card, a P1800 shop service manual, instruction manual, warranty booklet, and options brochure. Also included are many historical receipts covering the maintenance history of the car. Car is located in Los Angeles, CA, where it has been owned since 2008, when purchased by the current owner. The car is well maintained, and in beautiful condition inside and out. Upholstery has been recently replaced with high-quality vintage-reproduction materials (leather front seats and vinyl rear seat). Features rare Volvo A/C option, and the original luggage rack option. In 2011, the shocks were replaced with Bilsteins, the front bushings were replaced, and the clutch master cylinder was rebuilt. And, yes, the clock works! (It was repaired in Oct., 2011.) Also has a new battery. The car has been repainted once in its history, but the original color was also red. The body is clean and straight. Close inspection reveals one area of previous body repair, located on the left rear quarter panel. A/C blows, but does not get very cold, and the A/C vent's plastic housing has a crack.
