My Porsche 1955 550A Replica, built by Beck in Hesperia, California in 1999. This is build #546 made by Chuck Beck in California, vin #55000546 The car is Silver Blue color with a Black interior and includes a black vinyl top with side curtains. The car has 8,000 km/ 5,000 miles and is located in Springtown, Pennsylvania. I acquired the Spyder while living in San Francisco and have since moved to Pennsylvania from California and don't drive the car very much now. The car is titled and registered in Califorrnia as a 1955 Porsche Spyder and is exempt from Smog testing in California. I have the title in hand, it is a clean title with no liens. Technical Specifications:2175 Cubic Centimeter Engine, built by CB (Chuck Beck) Performance. It is a Type 1 VW Air-Cooled Engine with a 78mm stroke by 94mm bore with dual 44 IDF Weber Carburetors with Spyder air cleaners and peak horsepower of 150. It has a 4-speed Manual Transmission The Beck Spyders are beautiful recreations of the original Porsche 550. Hand-fabricated steel tube frames with a fiberglass body, the car is lightweight and is a work of art. Plus the car is just cool. I am reluctantly selling the Beck Spyder due to lack of use and would prefer that the car be driven- that's what it's for! I am the 3rd owner and the car has been garaged throughout its ownership and is in great condition. It is a blast to drive with alot of power, fun handling, and very nimble. The car runs great and there are no mechanical issues or needs. There is no rust and the car has not been in any collisions.
