Vintage Tote Gote. Model 700. Ebay required a year but actual year of bike is unknown. Im guessing around a 1970. From what i have read this is not the correct motor. It has a 8hp Briggs and Stratton motor. My son had it running about a month ago and rode the bike around the yard. The motor run but the carb may need adjusted. Other than that the motor seemed to run good with lots of power. There is a kill switch on the side of the motor that does not work. Since the motor is not the origonal it might need a little bigger belt. Bike seamed to want to go even ideling. There is a drain plug on the bottom rear of the engine that sticks out keeping you from sliding the motor back any further. If you was to put a oil plug in that took an allen wrench you might be able to slide the motor back far enough that the belt would be long enough. I have the kick stand but part of it is broken so you would have to come up with something there. Other than those problem the bike looks in pretty good shape. The seat is untorn and looks in good condition. Reason for selling is im just thinning things out that is not used any more. Bike to be picked up within 2 weeks from end of auction. Payment to be made at time of pickup by cash only NO EXCEPTIONS. Buyer must pick bike up. I will not ship or arrange shipping If you do not have a way to pick it up dont bid. I am located in DuBois, Pa. 15801 About 2 hours east of the Ohio border or about 2 1/2 hours northeast of Pittsburgh Pa. not far off Interstate 80. Any questions please ask. Ebay insisted i click title and mileage info but they didnt have the correct thing to ckick on . There is no speedometer so actual mileage is unknown. There is no title, i dont believe there was ever a title issued for these type of bikes.
