This is a great 1972 Volkswagen Super beetle convertible. It drives great and the top goes up and down with no problem whatsoever. It is up to you if you want to drive it as is, or put some money into it and have a show winning car. I have recently rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the coil, distributor cap, plug wires, spark plugs, replaced the seat upholstery, and changed the oil. The valves have been adjusted and are in good working order with the car getting good compression. This Volkswagen drives well both in the city as well as down the freeway. I get looks, waves and people talk to me about this car wherever I go. If you have any questions, please let me know. This car is available for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end this auction early if it sells. I would recommend a new top and some body work as rust is beginning to show in some areas. The heater boxes are there, however I have not gotten the heat to work. Being a convertible, I really only drive it when it is warm enough. Today was one of those days and it was a good day for a drive. Although this car is running very well. It is 42 years old and will be sold as is, where is, with no warranty written or implied in any way.
