The car has been my weekend cruiser for the past couple years, making runs out of Brooklyn to the winding farm roads of upstate New York. She’s been an absolute joy to drive and own, but I need a more practical family car at this point in my life. Car is straight and clean. Aside from normal aging for a 34 year old car, noteworthy imperfections are a cracked driver-side door pouch, small tear on driver seat, small windshield ding in the lower left (just above windshield washer blades), a couple tiny nicks in the paint and the horn is not working. I should also mention that the cabin fans are noisy when on high. The seals around the windows and Targa top are tight, but look aged. Targa top is clean and tight - no rattling or whistling. Over the past 2 years I put in a new clutch, put in new rear shocks (Bilsteins), a new driver-side window regulator (updated version), new brake pads, new alternator and battery. I also replaced the 1st-2nd gear guide sleeve in the transmission. While the transmission was out, all the gears were inspected and given a clean bill of health. Upgrades include a short shifter, Momo steering wheel and Sony Bluetooth stereo. Supposedly the engine was rebuilt at 150k miles but unfortunately I don’t have records from the previous owners. Based on the purr and performance of the engine, it must have been rebuilt. If you're in the area, I'd be happy to arrange a time for a test drive.
