2001 Dodge Intrepid R/T...This is one of the cars that were produced to commemorate Dodge's return to Nascar on Januaray 18, 2001. There was an entire year of intense publicity launching Dodge returning to Nascar in over 20 years!! Part of the promotion included several Inferno Red Dodge Intrepid R/Ts produced that were delivered to key Dodge dealers around the country. The lucky buyer of these cars were given a "gift box" of about 15 items, such as Dodge Motorsports labeled stop watch, umbrella, can coozie, binoculars and alot of other NOW collectible "stuff" ***Please note: Only the car is included in the auction, the diecast, Wheaties box etc are illustrated to show how Dodge promoted it's return..these items are NOT for sale.*** The car is powered by the 253hp High Output V6, same engine that powered the Chrysler 300M. Alot of other goodies included the fun-to-drive Autostick transmission, special wheels and special leather seats with the R/T embroidered on the front seats. Overall condition is very nice. The paint is nice and shiny, no rust. There are a few minor scratches and a minor ding at the bottom of the right rear passenger door as pictured. I recently painted the hood and front bumper cover due to discoloring clear coat. The interior is IMMACULATE!! No rips, tears or wear marks on the leather as you can see. It's clean and not been smoked in. The glass is good with a few minor stone chips but very minor. To sum up the car;s condition: Overall excellent shape. NOT perfect but very, very nice. Mechanically there are no known issues. The car runs and drives outstanding!! Everything works as it should: AC is ice cold, power windows work properly and it drives straight down the road. Stops without any pulling or pulsing. I would't be afraid to drive this car cross country!! But remember...this is a USED CAR and I've described it to the best of my knowledge...honestly.
