Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1964 Honda CA95, a 150cc Benly. It is fresh from a total reconstruction. It was torn down to the bare frame and the engine torn down to splitting the cases. The frame, front fork, trailing arm and other small items were media blasted and powdercoated to the original red color of the bike. The remaining parts were professionally painted to match. The engine has all new seals, bearings, and gaskets. The cylinders were bored 1mm over and the cylinder head rebuilt by Tim of ZForce racing. Any questionable parts were replaced. The pictures will show the aluminum parts that have been polished. The wheels and spokes are new chrome, relaced to true running (+/- 0.010" TIR) which is 1/4 of the new factory tolerance. All wheel bearings and seals are new as are the cables, harness, tires, and battery. The bike has been converted to 12 volts for more reliable operation, better starting, and brighter lights. All electrics work as they should except the above noted headlight Hi-Lo switch, which has a dead spot between the Hi and Lo beam operation. Both Hi and Lo work, but if the switch is left midway between, the headlight is off. A new headlight switch is quite expensive and not easily found. The speedometer was replaced with a NOS one at time of rebuild. It shows about 65 miles and might have a few more if I ride it around the neighborhood before the auction if over. The bike starts instantly, runs great, shifts well, and brakes work very well. Electric starter spins the engine over, horn works fine, lights function as expected other than the dead spot mentioned before. I have set the reserve at less than half of what I have in the bike and the BIN above that. I value my feedback rating and will work with you to make this transaction smooth. I can deliver the bike in my truck 25 miles for free. We can work out the cost of delivering farther. Of course, you can pick up the bike here after we make arrangements for time and date. I will assist with shipping, but at your expense. I have a short video of the bike starting and running, if you need more pictures or have questions about the bike, send me a message through eBay messages and I will answer within a day. On Oct-21-13 at 09:22:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions about the bike and who did the work. Other than the boring and cylinder head reconditioning, I did all the work. I am a retired engineer and have rebuilt about 6 vintage Hondas (V65 Magna, CBX, CB450, 2-CA95's, and my current project). There is a lot of background noise that masks the engine sound, but it might be of interesst anyway. http://youtu.be/j_ei3lGWffw100%
