Hello you are bidding on 2004 Chevy Impala SS Indy Edition with the 3.8 supercharged engine and auto transmission. It's a blast to drive its fun fast and looks cool. It's like Chevys version of the Pontiac GTP. Ran and drive before parking it so it should still run drive and stop. I have owned this car for 5 years and have kept up with the maintenance and repairs as needed except for what it currently needs at the moment. I bought this car with around 65,000 miles and currently it's over 165,000 miles. I've taken this car to Florida and North Carolina with no problems back and forth. The car has been sitting for at least 4 months minimum and may need other stuff like brakes or tires replaced due to rust or flat spots? The title is clear and free of any liens. I've always ran synthetic oil in this car and have flushed the transmission fluid about once a year I've had the spark plugs changed along with the wires. The fuel filter was replaced about once a year. The last time I drove the car was before May as to how long before May I believe about a month or 2 when the 2 of the hubs started making some noise so they will need replaced. I believe it's one front and one back. The check engine light has been on since I got the Ohio echeck and they replaced the gas cap. Thermostat kept getting stuck closed and I took it out and left it out so there is a code for that I'm sure. As for if there are any other codes I'm not sure. I do know it starts and runs great the supercharger sounds awesome and it may have an exhaust leak when you first start it you can hear it. When the car is cold and you start it you can hear it has a cold air intake sounds like a huge vacuum and I think it sounds great. The interior is stained on the carpet and seats and could use a good cleaning.The driver rear tail light lense is missing an inch to two inch chunk. The dimmer switch stopped working. The drivers leather seat is torn multiple times. The gauge cluster lens is cracked and is missing a chunk the steering wheel buttons are worn out. The shifter cable to the key doesn't work properly you have to shake the shifter to make it release. The shifter button comes out all the time. The driver rear door doesn't lock and the latch sometimes doesn't catch it's done this for 5 years now not really sure what that's about. The front valve cover seal leaks oil only when it's running and it also has oil?oilish? Looking residue by the injectors. It may need intake gaskets? Not really sure. All the tires leak air especially the driver rear tire it will lose 40lbs of air in just a few days the others are very slow like over the coarse of months I'm sure they need resealed or something. The tires are all above the wear bars except the driver front which was ruined be the alignment when the a arm on that side was replaced. With it been sitting so long they all probably have flat spots and just need to be replaced. Needs the hubs the check engine light looked at and what is known to cause the check engine light to come on the parts need to be replaced ie gas cap and thermostat and all other mentioned items of defects the car has currently need to be gone over and fixed. As I said it is used and may need other repairs that I'm not sure of. I'm selling this because I have a company car and also a winter SUV and no time to enjoy having fun with it anymore. Also I thought I had the plastic cover that said supercharged 3800 on it in my basement but I'm not sure where it went. I unplugged the battery to charge it because of how long it's been sitting it was to low to start and when I did that it reset the check engine light. With it needing the hubs the abs light and traction control light is on. The pics show how clean underneath is no rust under the car just on the doors. It's also missing a few screws on the dash and in the door on the rear driver side. It may be missing other bolts. I also forgot the center console door is broken it still latches and closes but the hinge is messed up. Doing everything I can to describe the vehicle to the best of my abilities. And it's hard to see in the photos but the silver pinstripe is partially missing on the passenger side and the drivers side isn't all silver it's kinda whiteOn Oct-17-13 at 19:57:40 PDT, seller added the following information: I just remembered I had the supercharger belt and idler pulley changed out about a year ago I smelled burning rubber and noticed I didn't have any boost I drive it for less than a mile and paid for the belt the idler pulley and labor which was I believe $165.00 parts and labor.
