This 2000 Jeep Cherokee RHD Postal Rural Letter Carrier SUV has been sitting for a while and does not start. It will most likely need a new crank position sensor. The motor turns over but does not appear to have spark to the plugs. This Jeep was used on a mail route until the previous owner's illness. The Jeep ran when he parked it last (approximately a year). I will describe this RHD Jeep as I see it. The Jeep is very dirty from sitting. I polished a few of the dirtiest areas and it looks very good (see photos). It will need a new battery and most likely a CPS to get it running. The condition of the mechanical and related parts is unknown but it ran well and was used daily before being parked. The body has the typical scratches and dings from postal use and all bumper end caps and the rear bumper have scratches. Both rocker panels have rust (see photos). The hood will need a new release cable and has some paint chips - see photo where I polished the corner. The drivers side RH door has some scratches. The body should look nice with just a wash and polish. All glass is good and all power windows work as do the power locks and power mirrors. The radio plays but will need a new mast to receive more stations. The odometer is reading just under 167,000 miles. The seats and door panels are very good. The headliner is sagging and can possibly be glued back in place. What you see in the photos is what you get. This Jeep is being sold as is and where is.
