Up For Auction Or Use The Buy It Now Option is a 64 Convertible Project Car . I bought Two Corvette Project cars off a widow from Ohio around 10 years ago, the 65 I sold a few weeks back and now this 64. Neither of them came with titles so it will be sold with a bill of sale Only from me to you. If that is not acceptable to anyone then please do not bid. The motor is a 1968 L-8-8 327 Large Journal it turns over free as it has been in dry heated storage. The tranny is a Muncie 4-speed that is all I know. The car has had the front clip replaced at some point in it's life with a GM clip. The rest of the body looks all original with all bonding strips intact .What ever is not on the car and not in the picture with the parts then I do not have it and therefor is not included in the auction. The car is not complete and here is a list of what I can see is MIA : gas tank and fuel line, a few small pieces of brake line, drive shaft, shifter, exhaust system, spare tire tub, distributor, a few pulleys and all belts & hoses, wiring harness, hood release control, head light motors and accessories, floor vents & controls, bumper brackets and I am sure other things I over looked. The bumpers are good driver quality, the interior for being 49 years old is still very respectable. The dash pads are not cracked but faded slightly from age, can be dyed to look new again. Door panels and seats are not too bad. The carpet looks like it was pieced together old and new? I would say it is due for a new carpet set to make the interior look very nice. Mileage shows 49,580 which I am sure has been over once so 149,580 I would say. Trim is STD (Black) the Paint is 932AA (Riverside Red ) The tach red line is 5,500RPM so I would guess the car was originally a 300HP. The suspension has been upgraded with a mono leaf front with tubular A-Arms and weldment trailing arms. If the winning bidder wants to exchange the hard top for a soft top in need of new canvas but will come with new Al Knoch canvas (white ) still in the bag . It will be an additional $1,000 above Buy It Now Or winning bid price and I will keep the Hard Top. I would remove the hard top and bolt the soft to in for you.
