Up for sale is my 1975 Porsche 914. It has a recently rebuilt single carb 1.8 motor with very little rust that i can find. I had the car repainted in silver and cleaned up the interior. It runs and drives fine for its age, I just dont drive it enough and would like for it to go to a new home. I will do my best to describe it. I will first tell you what i dont like. 1) The door handle is broken, (i have the replacement for the new owner) 2) The rear targa latch release is rusted, it does not affect the top at all all the other three fasteners work. 3)the odometer is not running 4) driver visor is off. 6)Very very small oil leak. 7)the headlamp switch sticks. 8) the E brake needs adjusting. What I like about the car is that it runs and shifts pretty good not missing gears, etc. It doesnt/didnt really need much to be pretty solid. newer tires balanced and aligned. No need for smog in California. Floors are solid, and i believe that hell hole is ok, but please check it yourself so you are satisfied. I have had two other 914's another '75 and a 74.This is my favorite! It is a cool car .The reason for selling I have too many cars, and not enough space, I also commute alot to work and a stick shift is a hassle for me in traffic. I have invested alot in this car, but also reasonably priced it to the other 914s I have seen. I or my family have both either bought and sold on ebay motors, so we hope to make this another pleasant transaction for both of us. I have enjoyed driving this car for the time I have had it , but aquired a nsx targa that is needing the space. That being said, there is no warranty and it is being sold as is , Please do your own inspection and considering it is from 1975, it may need some work that I dont know about except for what is mentioned.
