Vehicle Detail

I decided to sell my 1967 Camaro SS 350 Tribute! I am a licensed Idaho Auto Dealer but purchased this car for my personal use from another dealer. I am ONLY selling this because I came across a 1972 (my birth year) Camaro with a split bumper that I plan on keeping. This ’67 Camaro is much nicer than my ’72 but the wife doesn’t like the 4-speed so it has got to go. We aren’t desperate to sell and are asking a very fair price for this nice of car. It would cost you thousands more to build this car yourself. Our goal is to break even, not make a profit. As you can see by my Ebay rating, I have had very positive results during my many years with Ebay selling high interest sports cars and classic cars. I do my very best to paint an accurate portrait of the true condition of the car as I see it. I believe the condition of this Camaro falls somewhere between a show car and a beautiful driver. The body is laser straight with no sign of bondo anywhere and the paint is gorgeous with only one tiny chip in the paint that I am aware of. The body and paint is better than most cars at the car shows I have seen. The interior is very nice and has been completely redone. The rear seat has a few marks on it from the seat belts but should clean up nicely. I wasn't able to do a full detail on the car before I took the photos so it shows a little debris on the carpet and dust on the seats. The door panels, carpet, headliner, dash and seats have all been redone and are in nice shape. The gauges all work with exception of the speedometer that simply needs a new cable as the existing one got too close to the headers. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. The only fluid leak I know of is from the Muncie 4 Speed tranny and it just drips a few times after a drive. This has the Chevrolet crate engine ZZ4 that is 355hp and 405ft torque. It has aluminum heads and intake, HEI ignition and Edlebrock carb with electric choke. It has ceramic coated headers and a completely new 3” exhaust system done by a high end performance shop in town. This cost almost a grand but was done perfectly! It has new Flowmaster 44s with maybe 40 miles on them. This car also has upgraded brakes, all four corners are discs and it stops great. It also has power steering! The parking brake does not hold but is all hooked up and needs adjusted. The car has a 12 Bolt rear end with (I was told and it feels like) 3.73s. This car is quick and sounds amazing roaring down the road. As you can see it has Corvette style ralleys and BFGs. The fronts are 225/60/15s and the rears are 275/60/15s for that awesome stance! All of the tires are very new and in terrific condition. The car has air shocks that hold very well! All of the lights work like they should along with the wipers. It has a CD player and 4 speakers with an Ipod interface jack. I would re-run the speaker wires because they are routed funny and not tucked up under the dash like they should be. The car has all four lap belts. The console is nice but I would personally remove it and paint the lid so it matched the rest of the nice interior. It has all new Autometer gauges, Grant GT Steering Wheel, Hurst Shifter and a tilt steering column. Since the ignition was moved to the column, there is a hole not filled in the dash and you get a chrome plug for a couple bucks. This car was built by a gentleman in Boise who developed a medical problem that forced him to sell to the dealership I got it from. He spent years and many thousands of dollars on “his baby” but wasn’t able to spend much time enjoying it. It was a six year restoration! The dry Idaho high desert body was completely disassembled and stripped in order to lay on many coats of 1967 Butternut Yellow paint on this laser straight body. This is a steel cowl hood in perfect condition and is awesome with the SS stripes!!! The car also has all new weather stripping, door seals and window rubbers. The gas tank is even new. The engine bay was dressed up with lots of chrome: alternator, heater box, fender struts, air cleaner, water pump, etc. The differential cover is even chrome. I have only put about 50 miles on this car in the last 4 months. My wife says I can’t have two old Camaros and a new lifted Jeep Wrangler. This is a very nice Camaro car with a lot of great parts. It is gorgeous and everyone who has seen this car loves it. The few times I have had it out people were yelling from the sidewalk at you and giving you thumbs up. We took it to a small local care show gathering and so many people cam up and started telling us about their old Camaros they had when they were younger. This gets much more attention than any Corvette or Challenger I have had. Our beautiful bright red 1972 Camaro doesn’t attract this much attention. Please contact me through Ebay if you have any questions about the car or the transaction. I can help with shipping arrangements or pick up the buyer at the Boise airport any time. I personally would transport this car a long distance but it is reliable to drive anywhere. I have a great history on Ebay and want a positive transaction. Bidders with zero feedback should contact me before bidding. If you don’t have the funds available then please don’t bid until you get your finances in order. A $1,000 deposit will be sent via PayPal immediately after auctions end. There will be no additional fees with this transaction unless you are an Idaho resident and then I must collect sales tax. Out of state buyers will be provided a clean and clear title to register in their state. Here is a link to a short video I took in the morning on a cold start up. Air was chilly outside and car is on high idle of electric choke. Sounds amazing!!! http://youtu.be/VrrGdccaWuQ I forgot to mention in the ad that I have added a 2" seat track extension bracket on the drivers side for increased leg room! I am 5' 10 and with the seat all the way back it is almost too far away for me now. I have another bracket for the passenger side that I am including if you want more leg room for the passenger. My buddy is 6'3 and could not fit in the car until I installed the 2" extender. Thank you all and good luck to you! 100% On Oct-12-13 at 16:26:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: I showed this car locally twice today to two different couples. Everyone said the car is nicer than described and looks better in person so I am not sure if I am painting a clear enough picture for everyone online. I try to be critical and give E-bayers a clear idea what the car is like and sometimes I end up understating the car. It appears that if you really like this car, the "buy it now" option might be your best bet as I am entertaining local buyers as well who may want to end the auction early. The reserve is really close to this price anyways. I have two appointments to show the car tomorrow afternoon as well!! Good luck to you all and have a great weekend!
