For sale is a 1976 Jeep CJ5 VIN#J6F83AE026955. This Jeep is a great platform a weekend trail cruiser or a full restoration. It is a solid runner and has some minor body rust in the usual places. It could use a new interior and top but the can be used as is. The chassis has been overhauled and the engine rebuilt. There are 6,122.8 miles on the rebuilt engine. The stock wiring harness was replaced with a new Painless Performance Products harness along with some newer aftermarket gauges that need to be hooked up. This Jeep has brand NEW all terrain tires mounted and balanced on stain black steel wheels. The front axle features Warn locking hubs and new shocks along with a new steering stabilizer. The rear axle does not have a locker but has brand new shocks as well. The body is in very good shape for a its age. There are some minor chips below the doors and on the hood but a new paint job would easily fix those. The interior had the carpet replaced back in 2009. The front seats have some minor tears and there is a hole in the front part of the rear seat. These could be reupholstered or fitted with some seat covers.
