This is a decent 1948 Ford F-1 pickup with a V-8 flathead 239 And a 3-speed manual floor shift transmission. The truck has new rear wheel cylinders and new front kits, and 1 new front brake hose.Yes it runs good. I drive it ever week around the yard. It isn't road worthy yet mostly due to old tires. It does have a radio in it. It may be original or a early aftermarket. It looks like it was made for it. Currently it is working... The truck has a couple holes in the hood where someone had installed a 1955 chevy hood airplane and holes on each windshield post where it had spotlights. The cab floors are a little thin where your feet rest. I see a couple patches but not bad. The front cab corners show a little rust. The right door has a little rust by the lower door hinge. Both rear fenders have rust on the back where they meet the bed, I think you can see the rust in the front fenders. It's battery is fairly new. It has a new fuel pump. It has a fairly new exhaust. The clutch and pressure plate are almost new. It has a steering wheel with turn signal off a lincoln ??? or something like that. It's only been yard driven but isn't far from being roadworthy. It needs better tires. It has 15 inch wheels. Three are smoothy wheels so the hubcaps fit 3 but not the right rear. I am still a Kansas dealer so Kansas residents need to add 8.8% sales tax. Other states will need to pay that in their home states. I'm moveing to KC, Mo and the truck is currently there. I can have it either place for picking it up. A non refundable deposit of 500.00 is due within 48 hours and the balance within a week. I can help with loading. I can deliver up to around 200 miles for 1.25 per mile one way on a weekend and open car trailer. July -24-2013 I have replaced the oil pan gasket, the generator [used] and voltage regulator [new]. It works well. I also fixed the tail and brake lights. It still needs tires. If it doesn't sell this time I will paint it Flat black. Call me if interested 816-506-3789 ---------------------------------------- 10/9/13 I have started to repair rust in the right front fender. Some of the rust is cut out and I'm welding in new metal. I may put a set of Eagle wheels and tires on it.The price goes up $800.00 when I do. I think I maxed out the pictures.
