My mother drove this car daily since she bought it new in 2007. This was a dealer “left-over.” She drove 200-300 miles a day until last month, when she purchased a brand new 2013 Jetta. She absolutely loves Volkswagens and this car is the reason why. The absolute best part about this Jetta is the fact that every maintenance record for it can be found on CarFax because my mother brought it to Harmony VW of Asheville, NC every time it was serviced since the first mile. This car has always had full VW synthetic fluids in it, and it runs and drives great. This car looks, drives, and runs the way it does today because of the original owner. If it ever needed something, it was fixed right then and there with genuine VW parts (this is all reported on the VIN through VW). You are looking at a very solid, clean, and great car. I also have a matching spare 18”x8” VW GTI 35th Edition wheel that goes with the car. The bad: The car has 243,XXX miles on it. My mother daily drove it at 55mph down the interstate to work and back. She has put over 300,000 miles on every vehicle she has owned because of the distance she travels for work. This car runs, drives, and looks better than the same car with 100,000 mile that has been abused. Come drive it and see it in person, and you will strongly agree. Also, the black sticker on the driver and passenger door frame on the exterior back part of the door has peeled off and exposed the aluminum. You could put another sticker over it, paint it, or do whatever you please. I did not fix it because it is not a big deal to me. There are a few scratches, nicks, and dings. Although, for 243,XXX miles, this car looks unbelievable. I constantly ask people how many miles they think are on the car and the guesses are anywhere from 40,000-80,000 miles. I have never once heard a guess over 100,000 miles.
