hi and thnx. I do not like high miles cars and trucks any more than you; but... I am a big CHEVY fan and I am always falling in love, over and over, with the 5.7 liter, 350 engine. I am reminded again and again how great these engines are, especially when well cared for, built on a Monday and do not get pushed hard ~!~ this Suburban just simply runs and drives fine, please do not be scared. engine is as smooth as silk, tranny shifts out great, pulls through all the gears and is a pleasure to drive. simply tooling around town, or zipping down the highway... no issues regarding ride or performance. previous owner just replaced A/C compressor, plugs and wires and serpentine belt, for starters...
