1969 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO Up for auction is my 1969 white El Camino. This is a true original car from the Palms Springs area of Southern California. This is an arrow straight body, but will need some paint work on the new hood and front fender areas. The original 350 motor has been replaced with a 454 cubic inch big block engine, treated with an Edelbrock air gap manifold and carb (750 cfm), Hooker Competition Headers thru Flowmaster exhaust, MSD 6AL ignition box and billet distributor and wires. Also installed is a brand new set of Auto Meter gauges and new tach. This car also has a 12 Bolt non-posi rear end. Car has had a recent brake job including a new power brake master cylinder & booster. New rear wheel brake cylinders, pads and shoes. Transmission is a TH 400 with a new B & M shift kit and ratchet style B & M shifter. A brand new Power steering box, new tie rod ends, ball joints, springs, and shocks. To complete the a/c system you will need an a/c compressor and some various dash and under hood pieces. There is minor rust below rear window, with some small holes that were once used for a tonneau cover, otherwise this is a totally rust free California car.
