On Oct-05-13 at 01:28:07 PDT, seller added the following information: In the past year and a half this truck has had a new transmission installed, rear end has been completely rebuilt with new ring piñon and bearings, new universal joints, carrier bearing, running boards, altenater, two batteries, air conditioner pump, brakes, rotors, calipers, front wheel bearings, new hub lockouts, 8 new glow plugs, 6 of the 8 injectors, master cylinder, new 4 inch performance exhaust, power chip with on the fly management, performance turbo, the manifold gasket was replaced on passenger side. Drivers side manifold gasket has leak and need to replaced. ( gasket comes with truck) the flatbed on truck is 8 ft. This truck has not had 4 owners like eBay says. The first owner was a fire man and took a lot of pride in it, the second owner was a friend of the fireman who bought it only to plow his driveway. This guy only used it to plow with. So truck sat a tremendous amount. My husband bought the truck and did all the work to it including taking off the factory box and building the custom flatbed. My husband was 3rd owner and when we got married he took my maiden name and had to have title changed to his new name. Weird I know but the 3rd and 4th owner are actually the same person. The plow is a 8.5 foot heavy duty commercial grade western ultra mount. The plow motor reservoir tank where replaced last winter, also the plow lights where updated. Cerpentine belt is less than a month old. This was replaced because the air condition compressor went bad. The a/c pump does need to be vacuumed out and recharged. The oil pan does has some small leaks as do many oil pans on the 7.3 a new pan can be bought at advance auto for 120.00. A rubber line to the transmission has a very minor leak and should be replaced. It's time to replace the front tires as well. There are strobe lights in the grill, front turn signals, and in the light bar. There are spot lights mounted under flatbed near rear tires that turn on when the truck is put into reverse to make it easy to see well in reverse for plowing. Truck also has a cb radio and a police, fire, weather scanner mounted in a custom rack that mounts to the floor. This truck books out on Kelly blue book for just under 10,000. My husband loves his truck and is heart broken that it has to be sold. He enjoyed slowing fixing it up and searching for new toys for it. The last thing he did to it was install a custom radio that you can watch movies on. Has blue tooth for your phone, built in gps, and a back up camera. The back up camera has not been installed on rear of truck yet but it comes with truck. Just mount it and plug it in. I get a lot of questions on why this truck is being sold. My husband has cancer and it has financially ruined us. I was posting from my I pad and did not notice spell check was putting weird words in....lol eBay would not let me edit that info so I had to do it again. The air condition compressor is brand new. It's a month old. It was installed and just needs to be vacuumed out and re charged. Air has always worked great in truck. Truck has the 7.3 motor, the international motor that made these trucks so popular. Many people call these motors the bullet proof engine. They just keep on going.
