1966 Ford LTD, four door hardtop. 390 V8. This is a great old original survivor, totally unrestored. Runs and drives fine, I would be comfortable driving it anywhere. The 390 V8 looks all original under the hood except for the addition of the electronic ignition. It has a 2 barrel carb on it, so anyone purchasing it would probably want to acquire a 4 barrel to increase performance. It runs and drives fine now, but should have a full tune-up. Radio antenna noted in the picture is not original (note that he used a rifle butt plate for a bracket), it works fine and he did not splice or otherwise harm the antenna lead to the radio. So it has the original jack, if you acquire an original antenna. I just acquired this vehicle recently. This car was bought new here in Billings and driven until the original owner passed away in 1999. The car has always been garaged. It was left in storage until I bought it in 2012. I was given the original title, unfortunately I had to turn that in to license the car in my name, so I am the second owner. I have driven it only about 100 miles since I acquired it. I put on a new muffler, starter, and changed the oil. This vehicle has original paint and upholstery. The upholstery (cloth) and headliner (vinal) are in beautiful original condition. The floor mats are very nice (look like new), note photo at foot feet. If a floor mat's going to wear anywhere, it would be there. The previous owner had full floor mats and seat covers, front and rear. Obviously, while it looks very nice, there is wear, chipped and faded paint. There is couple of very minor food spots on the upholstery (front bottom) that I believe could be easily cleaned. The items not working, that I know of, are the gas gauge and air-conditioner. There are numerous parking lot dimples in body and side chrome. The only place the body has been pushed in any, that I can see, is on the trunk lid just above and to the right of the Ford emblem, which is slightly bent, but not cracked or broken. Most do not even see it until I point it out.The steering wheel (note photo) has the typical plastic separation crack in the outer rim, just from normal aging. They are easily filled to look like new. The vinal top has a cut or scratch (pictured) that has been repaired. There is no rust-out in the body, some very minor surface rust spots on the flat surfaces inside the trunk. The windshield has 2 rock marks in it, but servicable for many years. Should have Novice fix them. The rest of the glass all looks fine. The original hub caps are in the trunk. They are in average condition, restorable, but have lots of little dents. The car is sold AS IS. We welcome any questions or inspection of vehicle.
