Vehicle Detail

hi and thnx. back in '04-05, jeep was knocking the explorer, chevy tried with the (trail)blazer, but it was Dodge that really nailed it in my mind. just the right size, body on frame construction, great 4.7 V8 standard with AWD. this recent body style change made the difference even greater. nicely styled, modern interior, plenty of room and a great value. this is a nice one owner vehicle with just 64k actual miles, and it looks it. this Dodge is a little unusual in that it was as give back to the bank (I have title and all paperwork in hand). the lender was a very large local credit union, and the previous owner simply had to give the car back due to health reasons. how little they drove this Durango makes me understand. at just over 6000 miles a year, this baby barely had time to stretch her legs, let alone get pushed hard. the ride and drive are great, engine smooth as silk, 4x4 and more, full power, windows, locks, cruise, tilt, gauges, stereo, a/c, abs, air bags and more !@! something like a 4 year old car in ride and performance. but, it is an older SUV and not perfect. we had it at the mechanic's for a check up and wound up replacing the power steering pump owing to a small seal leak, front brakes were serviced with new pads and rotors, a/c was charged up and a bulb or two replaced. that's it, all done... oh, then it went to the tire store for a new front tire (had a small bubble in old tire sidewall) and they gave it a 4 wheel alignment for good measure. I kept the receipts and it was a good chunk of money, but better it is behind me than pass on a problem to next owner. great engine and tranny, awd, cold /ac, great on the road, or for errands around town or blasting down the highway at 75 mph. clean, smooth, comfy and reliable. these cars came from Chrysler with a 7 year 100,000 warranty, and I can see why. they built great cars and SUV's, about as good as you get. drive in style, with confidence and the security of all wheel drive, 24/7. there are a couple of things that go beyond worthy of fixing: there is damage to the rear bumper cover right side and middle, there is a light wear tear in driver's seat cushion, right front fender has some damage and paint chips (hard to photo), spare tire and the two rear tires are showing wear, normal enough - they don't last forever. so, just bid and buy, drive it home. clean title, car, key, emissions, etc. no issues, just gas and go. please see all photos carefully, I took all the good and the bad. feel free to email or call anytime, I am happy to help. or, just come by and say hello, take a test drive and you will be convinced. j. bettes 800 Clinton ave Bridgeport, CT 06604. 203.345.4470 home and fax 203.258.3356 On Oct-04-13 at 08:35:24 PDT, seller added the following information: the Durango is doing. thnx for the emails and questions. I will start posting if they are helpful. I took a photo of the right front headlight area where the fender has some light damage; you might want to look closely at this. and I hope this does not affect your buying decision, but with the hood up for the shot, you can't see a small dent in the hood about where it is near the light is when closed. also, the grill has a light crack and a chip in the same general area. this is a cosmetic issue only, and I am not trying to be picky, just want to be clear.
