Up for auction is... A 1980 Toyota Celica ST Sunchaser in excellent complete condition. NO RESERVE!!!!! First bidder could end up winning it! So I bought this last year as a parts car with the total understanding that it did not run, only that is was running when parked and that they could not ever get it to start after sitting for a few years After getting the car back to Charlotte, NC (where I am located) I could not bear to part the car, noting it was far to complete and to nice a shape to destroy it. It went on the back burner for some other more pressing personal reasons and I never got around to finding the running issue, though I did get a few things done. One thing you might notice is the drivers door is silver, the original door had been dented by the owners son backing into a pole and putting a nice crease up near the hinges (to big to pull out), LOL NO damage was done to the car or frame, just the door, so I replaced the door (old lock is inside the car) I also added a GT side mirror to the passengers side for safety,  as well as replacing the left taillight, because a lense had fallen out. (glue let go) ALL the glass is in great condition, and everything rolls up tight as it should The rear convertible top had recently been replaced just before I got it and it shows, looks almost new, and those run about $300 plus about $500 to install! White paint appears to be original, as its getting a little worn from 30 years in the sun! This even has the gray plastic panel that goes over the rear taillight section! Those are always missing or broken into 10 pieces! This one has one crack that I saw! Jack and wrench are in their correct compartment in the trunk. Sunchaser interior parts are mint! Tag (what is left of it, is still there (and reads J 861) As far as rust, I have not seen any on the body, or under the hood, But it will need tires the left rear has a slow leak, and it will need a battery, as the one in it now, was out of one of my cars The seats will need to be repaired eventually, but everything is here for a quick restoration I am only selling because I purchased another car (one I have been looking for for 6 years) and I do not need 3 Sunchasers in my collection of Japanese classic cars!! I left the door card off the drivers side, as I have not put in the old lock.  thats about everything I know about the car. I part these out sometimes for up to $2000 But again, this is to nice a car to do that and I would feel guilty, plus I do not have the time I need the room for my new car NOW! OK, so what are you waiting on?!?! BID! lol! Title was signed over to me, but I never turned it into the DMV,  so I think I can make you a Bill of Sale and sign the title over to you,  and everything should be ok to register it in your State. Car is being sold with not warranty, expressed or implied to the highest bidder, AS IS, WHERE IS And as a bonus, I am glad to help with any info or parts you might need for your restoration,  AND after your restoration, as I most people know I buy, sell and restore Celicas So I am always parting out, or finding hard to find parts, for my restorations  and reselling what I do not need or use to the Celica community! It then must be returned to me within 5 days of my agreement of a return. I am then HAPPY to refund the FULL winning auction amount, once it arrives safely.
