Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan SE. There is no reserve. It runs like a top. No major Engine or Transmission problems. The Good: The engine on this thing just keeps on going. It does have high mileage, and it does drip an oil spot here or there, but it is actually pretty good for its age and mileage. The transmission was replaced about 3 years ago and still works perfectly fine. (Sorry I don't remember the mileage when it was replaced). The air conditioning was repaired about 2 or 3 years ago too and works fine and blows cold air. The interior seats are in good shape - no tears or major stains. We also replaced the headliner about 2 years ago and it looks great. It has fairly good Michelin tires, you can see the typical tread remaining on one of the attached photos. The Bad: My daughter drove it into a ditch and bent a tie rod end pretty good. At the time it didn't drive well. I bent it back and it drives good now, but it needs to be aligned by someone who can set it properly. At 55 mph it shimmies a little, but it is drivable. You may even want to replace a tie rod. The Ugly: It has a few dents and scratches, but no major body problems. I tried to show all the damage in the photos. 5 or 6 years ago we were rear-ended, but it didn't need the frame or anything straightened; we just had to have the hatch door repaired and repainted (professionally). This vehicle is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I do not provide shipping, and would expect the new owner would want to just pick it up and drive it home. I wouldn't have any problem driving it 100 miles or so, but any further, and I would suggest that it should be aligned first. IMPORTANT!!!The car will need to be picked up on Saturday, October 5th from the Hot Springs, Arkansas area. I live in Indiana, but also have a home in Hot Springs. I will be in Hot Springs all day on Saturday, but after this trip I won't be back in Arkansas until November. Please don't bid unless you can communicate on pick-up arrangements for Saturday. Please also note that the winner bidder's deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction close. Good luck bidding!
