For auction is my trusty 2004 Honda ST1300. It is a great bike and set up for touring with many accessories that are included with the bike. It is the ABS model with about 32,000 miles. The front tire has about 4,000 miles on it and should go at least another 6,000 based on my previous riding experience with it. The rear tire will need replacing, I would give it about 100 more miles before the threads are showing. I can arrange to have a new rear tire installed for you if you plan on riding it home any distance at your expense, let me know if you are the winning bidder. This summer I took this bike on a trip out west of about 4,000 miles and it returned 48-52mpg cruising at ~70mph on the interstate, and a little better in the mountains at altitude (going slower of course). Accessories included on the bike are the tank bra and tank bag by Bagster which have kept the tank looking like new, the Givi trunk (scratched up from a tumble on blacktop when I forgot to secure it to the mount) which holds at least one full face helmet +, a Cee Bailey +6,+6 windshield on the power adjustable windshield, audiovox cruise control, Garmin GPS mount with key switched power, I will include an old Garmin 2610 with the bike that works, but has older maps. A Stebel air horn is installed and is operated by the normal horn button thru a relay. Multivex rear view mirrors to elimate the blind spots make riding safer. As shown in the pictures, it has the mirror and fairing deflectors which have been professionally painted body color. It has grip puppies and heated grips (not Honda, but aftermarket), It has a Pirates Lair backrest and a Turbo Tom luggage rack which is handy when the Givi is removed. It has the LD seat modification by Spencer that makes 600 mile days possible. I has the HondaCare Roadside Assistance for towing, gas, tire, and other issues along the road which expires in August of 2015. The XM Roady mount is included along with the switched power feed, but I will be keeping the radio and antenna (I have an older used antenna you can have if needed). There are 12 volt accessory outlets in both glove boxes in the fairing along with the heated grip control switch. One waterproof 12volt plug on the right side of the fairing outside the glove box. A battery tender harness is included as shown in one of the pictures. I have HID conversion headlights installed, that really light up the night. Included are bag liners for the side cases, your choice of either the Honda or aftermarket liners. The bike has been maintained mostly by me with a couple of items handled by the local dealer. It gets a synthetic oil change every 4,000 miles and rear axle drive oil change every 8,000 miles. The clutch fluid was changed prior to this summers trip (about 4,000 miles ago). Spark plugs, air filter, and thermostat about 8,000 miles ago. I have the Honda factory service manual that goes with the bike and all records of service and accessory purchases. The reserve price is below low book (NADA.com) and the BIN is below average book price. If you want to fly in and drive home, I can pick you up at either Ohare or Rockford airports. I can store the bike in it's garage where it has been when not being riden for the last 9 years. I am the original owner. I suggest viewing the bike before bidding, it is a very well cared for 2004 model that has 32,000+ miles on it. there are no unusual marks or scratches, just normal wear and tear other than what is noted about the top case. The luggage tops have 3M plastic film on them (easily removed) to protect them from boot scuffs. I have the original windshield if you would prefer it installed, let me know, it's a 10 minute job.
