We are proud to present this VERY nice 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop Coupe Here's an opportunity to own a classic 1960's muscle car. This 1966 Mustang looks fantastic and the 289 V8 RUNS GREAT. Its in excellent condition inside and out. This is a solid car - a beautiful Mustang that you can take to any local meet or show with pride...or, just drive the heck out of it. It is mostly original, with some minor upgrades mechanically. Its just a really, really nice 1966 Mustang, and we're sure the next owner will be happy to have it as a part of their stable. Obviously, the car has has a total repaint at some point, and it looks great - bright and shiny all around - no notable dents, dings or scratches. This car was original Candy Apple Red. It is a brighter red color now. The exterior chrome, trim pieces, etc... are all in good shape. No sign of rust. We think the exterior of the car (with the exception of the paint) is all original, including the wheels. Perhaps a Mustang expert out there can enlighten us if we're incorrect. The interior is also in very, very nice shape. The seats have no rips or tears. The carpets, dash and door panels are also in very good condition. We don't know if this interior is all original, or if it has been expertly re-done. We do know its very impressive. It loos to us like the paint on the inside of the door panels is the correct Candy Apple Red color. The headliner also looks very good. Again, everything inside looks to be original to us, right down to the optional "deluxe" steering wheel. This Mustang has an automatic transmission. The 289ci V8 engine runs very well. This car came from the factory with the code "C" 200hp 2bbl 289ci V8. A few upgrades have been made here, but nothing drastic. Chrome head covers, braided hoses and the exhaust are the only significant changes we see, but there may have been some internal mods we're not aware of. This motor really runs strong, and it SOUNDS GREAT, too. The underside of the car looks very good as well. No Rot. The wheels all look good as well. Again, we think these are original, or at least correct. The odometer reads 44,335. After looking the car over, we think these could easily be original, but we do not know if they are or not.
