I also installed a complete new door locking system so all new locks fitted with several spare keys. New Prop UJ fitted and a chassis under seal with a light hydraulic oil.The Engine is a 2.5 TD used by the British Army and Military for many years in all climates proving its durability. These engines are extremely simple to maintain at home with a basic tool set. The transmission and transfer box both work perfect in Low Range, High Range and diff lock with out issue every time lighting the dash light when engaged. I have tested on and off road! The chassis has had a full inspection, everything on it is as it should be 100% working order and completely Rust Free.. The brakes have all been checked and the fluids replaced. I also tested them on a rolling road brake tester and there is NO brake imbalance all working as they should and stops perfect and complies with all DOT, EPA and State Inspection standards. The doors are all in fantastic condition no rot or rust in any of the door bottoms or anywhere they all close and seal as good as new! The bulkhead is also in fantastic condition inside and out no rot in the corners or any sign of repairs. This defender is very clean and was a 2 owner from new previously owned by a lady to carry her horse tac around.
