Please be sure to read the entire contents of this auction/sale. This has been a great car! This has been my wife's commuter and winter car for the past few years. I'm the second owner w/ nearly all service records since new. Runs great! I did body work to the car last summer; taking the rusty areas out of the wheel wells. A little bit of oxidation has bubbled up again on one of the rear fenders, but for the most part I took the big chunks out. Great tread on Weatherforce tires. Engine oil changed regularly. AWD takes you nearly anywhere. I've never been stuck. I've owned the car for nearly 4 years and purchased the car off of a retired fire chief who was meticulous w/ his record keeping and maintenance. Non smoker. A/C works nicely! Good heat, and has heated front seats and mirrors. Also has a plug for the engine block. Recently replaced the shifter bushing shackle, and the biggie: timing belt and related idlers, tensioner, and company. The 2.2L engine is the rock solid one. Not like the 2.5L that has the head gasket troubles. Most people just keep their outbacks forever until they completely die, but my wife won't let me spend any more money on this one. This car has not been getting driven enough to justify keeping now. The left rear half shaft will most likely need to be replaced soon as it has a little bit of noise coming from it... otherwise this car is a solid used car. This car isn't perfect, but is a good one if you can do some wrenching yourself! $1800 OBO.
