Here we have a 1967 Barracuda Convertible up for sale, the car looks complete as far as I can tell. VIN BH27D72341999. It was stored inside for many years, but had considerable rust,when it was put into storage. The car ran and drove to the previous owners garage, it does run with gas poured down the carb. The car has a 318 v8 with a column shifted automatic trans. The clear title shows 98000 miles, the odometer shows two places for digits they show- 0074 08778, the speedometer goes to 150 mph. The dash overall is very nice, dashpad looks great. The radio plate has a corner broken near the glove box door. The convertible top loks good, has a few patches in it,the rear window is very dark to see out of,so it needs replacement. The whole car needs restoring,or for parts,seats are complete, but need reuphulstering. The hood and doors look OK, the rear frame and torsion member look OK. There is rust in the trunk, and quarter areas. The most serious rust is the front frame rails, the driver side is a little better than the passenger side. It will take extensive repairs, or better maybe to replace the rails. The trunk lid has a hole,underside,toward drivers side, and along the lower lip.The floors, fenders, also have rust. In my opinion, the car could be restored, but will take some effort,due to the amount of rust in the car. Interested parties can see the car, email to make arrangements, with seller. I have a front end chassis from a similar car, but who ever removed it, cut the rails off at the cowl, so the shock towers, control arms,etc. are good, but frame rails are not, since they are cut short. This front end goes with the car. Car is located in Southeast,P.A., about midway between Harrisburg, and Allentown. Delivery may be arranged,if not too far- contact seller. Car sells AS-IS, clear title gets transffered over to buyer after car is paid in full. Car to be picked up within two weeks of auction end,unless special arrangements are made with seller,prior to auction end.
