This is a 1943 Willy's MB. It has no title or bill of sale. After doing some research online all the numbers match to 1943 or early 40's production engine included. It has the original US Army tag with the MB# still legible. Previous owner stated that his father had purchased this Willy's post war at government auction and was a farm runner and used for hunting. He doesn't remember it ever being registered. He scraped the tub to restore it but never happened. Due to an injury I will not be able to restore it. I have the hood, fenders and grill. The fenders are in good shape with one having a little rot that can easily be fixed. The grill has driving lights and night lights installed. Has original gasket still on it. Hood is in good shape with little or no rust. The rear frame is going to need repair. The passenger side rear spring shackle has rotted off. The a arm that mounts the pintle hook is bent and needs replacing. The frame in the rear seems thin and might need reinforcing. Come inspect prior to bidding and see for yourself. I am no Willy's expert and just reporting my observations.The winning bidder can pay cash at pickup and must pick up the jeep from my location no later than Monday 09/ 23.
