Up for sale is a nice matching-numbers 1965 Ford Mustang coupe. This is a factory C-code 289 2v / C-4 auto, Poppy-Red California car. Great example of a well-kept and original, first generation Pony car. Still has the factory engine and transmission that were both rebuilt and have less than 20k miles since. Carburetor was just rebuilt last month and she starts right up on first key turn every time. It’s mostly a stock rebuild on the engine but it does have some mods like a performance air intake, and dual Flowmaster exhaust which sounds really beefy. Has power steering as well for easy driving. This Mustang runs just as good as it looks and I would not hesitate driving her anywhere. Very reliable classic and can easily be used as a daily driver. Now for a few more specs on the car, the suspension, brakes, and power steering work great. Car drives well at all speeds and has no squeaks or rattles. Drum brakes all around with upgraded GT master cylinder which helps the car stop nice and easy. All the electrical is in great shape and everything works as it should including all the dash gauges, exterior lights, heater system, wipers, horn, ect.. This is a California car with no rust issues. It was painted about 2 years ago with a darker shade of red than the original Poppy color and as you can see in the pics it shines stunningly! Original glass all around in excellent condition and all 4 windows roll up & down fine. Most of the exterior chrome has been replaced and everything looks nice and bright. Interior is clean with a new headliner, door panels, and carpet. It now has an aftermarket stereo but nothing was cut on the dash to make it fit, so if you wanted to go back to stock this one can simply be removed and all the original dash cut-outs are still there. Car has original wheels and hub caps with deluxe spinners. I tried to list as much as I could about it and if I missed anything feel free to ask. This Pony turns heads and gets thumbs up everywhere I drive it. I have a clean CA title in hand with current registration until 2014.
