General History The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by the Ford Motor Company from 1964 until 1973. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of imitators. It was initially introduced as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale the following year. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included black front seat belts, a glove box light, and a padded dashboard, adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter. This car comes with original 1965 title from Northland Motor Sales in Oak Park, Michigan, as well as the original owners manual with the original Ford Registered Owner Identification card.
