I'm not a mopar guru but have been researching the info from the vin and fender tag. this car came out of an estate and the lady i bought it from didnt know nothing about the car. but my research shows this is a factory 440 car which is indicated by the L in the VIN# & the E86 on the fender decodes it to be a six pack. it has a 1969 440 in it that i took pictures of the casting numbers of but I couldn't see a vin on the pad on the side. it has the edelbrock 3X2 intake with factory 6 pack air cleaner. ive never had a 6 pack car that ran and drove as well as this car. it has a real nice smooth idle with just a little lope. the transmission goes smoothly through the gears and it cruises down the highway with the flow of traffic(our speed limit is 75) and all the gauges work. ive put a few hundred miles on it in the last month and the ride is very impressive! the doors open and close as good as they did when new! the windows easily roll up and down with excellent fit. the car is a factory air car but does not currently have air on it. the tires look like they were just put on. it was sold to me as a 54k mile car but unfortunately there isn't any documentation to back that claim. ive been buying & building musclecars for several years and there are several things about this car that lead me to believe the miles are actual. the car does not appear to have ever been off of its frame. i just pulled the factory shocks and gas tank off of the car to update it and spruce up the bottom a little. i put new KYB shocks on all 4 corners and replaced the tank with a new polished stainless steel one. inside the trunk and indercarriage is still coated with whats left of the factory undercoating, i do have pictures of the undercarriage before i did any cleaning but we pressure washed the bottom hoping to get some of the undercoating off but that was pretty much a wasted effort because that stuff is really on there. after we cleaned it we went over it with a coat of satin black. the car dont squeek or rattle at all! everything is tight, the doors open and close so easy & line up excellent. the paint is @3 years old but I wish I knew where I could get a job as good as it has on it. I aint saying its perfect because you can pick any paint job but I don't know where I would go to get one done any better. the interior is very nice, at least as nice as the pictures show. maybe a little nicer. glove box and console both open better than most. all the lights inside & out work, even the fender blinkers! the horn honks about half of the time. the radio don't work. i really try not to stress how nice something is because everybody has a different idea of what a nice car is & it is very common for my customers say my cars are way nicer than described. this isnt a 1000 point isca show car but it is a damn nice car. ive had more than a few cars that were in the 100k range that didnt run and drive this good. it has its own bed room here at 1602 s. market in hearne, texas & your more than welcome to stop by and see it for yourself. that would just give me a good reason to take it out for a drive! reflections of things in the background show just how much shine this SLICK black paint has! the loading dock that the car is parked on in the pictures is over 100 feet long and you can see each of what the pictures wont show you is just how good this car runs and drives! I'm not a mopar guru but have been researching the info from the vin and fender tag. this car came out of an estate and the lady i bought it from didnt know nothing about the car. but my research shows this is a factory 440 car which is indicated by the L in the VIN# & the E86 on the fender decodes it to be a six pack. it has a 1969 440 in it that i took pictures of the casting numbers of but I couldn't see a vin on the pad on the side. it has the edelbrock 3X2 intake with factory 6 pack air cleaner. ive never had a 6 pack car that ran and drove as well as this car. it has a real nice smooth idle with just a little lope. the transmission goes smoothly through the gears and it cruises down the highway with the flow of traffic(our speed limit is 75) and all the gauges work. ive put a few hundred miles on it in the last month and the ride is very impressive! the doors open and close as good as they did when new! the windows easily roll up and down with excellent fit. the car is a factory air car but does not currently have air on it. the tires look like they were just put on. it was sold to me as a 54k mile car but unfortunately there isn't any documentation to back that claim. ive been buying & building musclecars for several years and there are several things about this car that lead me to believe the miles are actual. the car does not appear to have ever been off of its frame. i just pulled the factory shocks and gas tank off of the car to update it and spruce up the bottom a little. i put new KYB shocks on all 4 corners and replaced the tank with a new polished stainless steel one. inside the trunk and indercarriage is still coated with whats left of the factory undercoating, i do have pictures of the undercarriage before i did any cleaning but we pressure washed the bottom hoping to get some of the undercoating off but that was pretty much a wasted effort because that stuff is really on there. after we cleaned it we went over it with a coat of satin black. the car dont squeek or rattle at all! everything is tight, the doors open and close so easy & line up excellent. the paint is @3 years old but I wish I knew where I could get a job as good as it has on it. I aint saying its perfect because you can pick any paint job but I don't know where I would go to get one done any better. the interior is very nice, at least as nice as the pictures show. maybe a little nicer. glove box and console both open better than most. all the lights inside & out work, even the fender blinkers! the horn honks about half of the time. the radio don't work. i really try not to stress how nice something is because everybody has a different idea of what a nice car is & it is very common for my customers say my cars are way nicer than described. this isnt a 1000 point isca show car but it is a damn nice car. ive had more than a few cars that were in the 100k range that didnt run and drive this good.
