1964 VW BAJA BUG Solid body- No Rust! Battery Pan replaced- that’s it. Perfect Heater Channels, Heater works great!! This bug has been gone through thoroughly over the past year. The following is a brief list is what I have invested: · FRESH Rebuilt Stock 1600 SP (Case Split, line bore, new bearings, new pistons and cylinders, rebuilt heads, HD oil pump, Power Pulley, BOSCH 009, new clutch, pressure plate & TO Bearing. ) Engine has 250 miles on it. Absolutely NO LEAKS! · New 30 PICT-1 Carb · New Stinger exhaust · All new brakes ( Shoes, Wheel Cylinders, German Master Cylinder , brake lines) · 4 NOS Stock Boge Shocks · Stock Swing Axle Transmission- New NOS German Axle Boots · 4 Old School ‘JACKMAN’ Rims 14x7 Fronts & 15x8 Rear- (Rims were blasted and powder coated) · New Front 27x8.50r14 Off Road Tires- 235/75/15 Rears · Door panels’ custom covered in ‘Mossy Oak’ Camo. · Rear Seats were recovered stock black basket weave · Stock front seats in good shape, but drivers could use new padding. · New Stock 2-piece Rubber Floor Mats · NEW Window Rubber (Cal-Look- no slot for trim) · New Empi Shifter · 12V Wiper Washer (Came out of a 1988 Nissan J) · New 5 Piece black carpet kit · No off road lights for the light bar · New rear cargo carpet kit · No Radio- has stock un-cut dash · 12V cigarette lighter/Car Charger · All stock 1964 wiring · All Electrical works! This is a cool daily driver that turns a lot of heads! Exterior of Bug has been recently painted ‘Olive Drab’ to give it an old school military look to it. The interior color is stock L87 Pearl White. The paint is far from perfect. The fiberglass body kit needed a lot of glass work to be perfect, but I didn’t want this to be a showroom bug- I wanted it to be a really cool nd fun reliable daily driver…. And this is what it is!
