****Relisted due to a non-paying bidder. Please note that if you have less than 10 positive feedback you bid will be cancelled!!!****For all you HOT RODDERS & CAR CRAZY people out there looking for a TRUE HOT ROD that surpasses the “COOL” factor.... here it is!!! One of Henry's BUILT LIKE IT JUST CAME FROM THE 40’s.….READ ON!!!.... You are looking at a true “HOT ROD” just like the way they did it in the beginning but with some “hidden” modern upgrades to make this a reliable driver….no rat rods here!!! BODY: This is an ORIGINAL Henry Ford ALL STEEL Roadster that was found on a farm hidden deep in the valley of Oahu’s west side. This Hiboy is for the true hot rodder!!! Frame off build only about six months ago, the body was left with its original patina to keep the vintage look & feel. FRAME: The frame is the original ’31 Model A frame that came with this body and has been kept true to its roots (in other words, not boxed). It retains its original front and rear cross members, but sports a Vern Tardel center “K”-member. DRIVETRAIN: What would scream “Hot Rod” louder than a FLATHEAD!!!! A FULLY REBUILT and GREAT RUNNING 59AB flathead sporting an EDELBROCK dual carburetor intake with rebuilt 97 Strombergs. To add to the Hot Rod theme, this flathead was upgraded with “cheater” style aluminum heads. To help make this a reliable driver, all new electrical has been upgraded to a 12 volt system with an EZ wiring kit, an electronic distributor, and an alternator with the look of a generator to keep with the ‘40’s hot rod theme. Power is transferred through a ’39 transmission then to a ’40 Ford rear end. Keeping the engine cool is a new Walker radiator with an electric fan. SUSPENSION: The smooth ride gives thanks to a rear POSIES reverse eye spring with along with ’32 Ford “wide beam” axle for just the right look. All new brake system with newly rebuilt ’40 Ford hydraulic brakes. All four corners have 16 x 4 wheels that are topped off with new tires (550 x 16 fronts & 750 x 16 in the rear). INTERIOR: Simple yet effective…..All switches hidden and a cool FYRAC spot light in the windshield. An aluminum gas tank & aircraft seatbelts add a little “Nostalgic race” feel to the cockpit. Get ready for SUMMER!!! FUN, FUN, FUN…….in the sun!!! To sum it up, this Roadster is a blast to drive!!! It’s well built and updated with enough stuff that you can drive with piece of mind, and in comfort. This Roadster is definitely NOT a slapped together “rat rod”!!! It is a true “Hot Rod”. It’s been driven it to many cruises and on a few long hauls without a hint of a problem. This is a TURN KEY Hot Rod registered as a’ 31 Ford and I have a clean title in hand…and am listing this at a very low reserve….That’s right……a VERY LOW RESERVE!!! I am selling this for a friend of mine who is not computer savvy. Please call him direct @ 808-836-8829 ask for Layne. I have used DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers Ph#1-800-826-1083) to ship a 66 Nova to NY. Price from Hawaii to NY was about $2400.00. The same company has shipped international for many of the cars that I have sold outside of the US. Their web site is: http://www.dasautoshippers.com/global_auto_transport.html If you only need shipping to California, I have used Horizon Lines. They are the only ones that automatically ship in a container at no extra charge. Cost is about $1100.00 Their web site is: http://www.horizon-lines.com/ I can assist the buyer by taking the Roadster to the docks for shipping, however, buyer must make all arraignments & pays for shipping & transport. I have used DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) to ship cars to & from Hawaii and as far as Switzerland. Please ask questions BEFORE you bid. I encourage and welcome you or a representative of you to come inspect before you bid. When you bid, you are entering into a contract to purchase if you are the winning bidder. You are not bidding to "look" at the car and then decide if you want it or not. Please message me BEFORE you bid if you have less than 10 positive feedbacks. If you do not contact me before you bid, your bid will be automatically cancelled. The Roadster is sold "AS IS". A $2000.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction ending. I have purchased & sold many vehicles on eBay. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!!!
