Here is an original paint unrestored 1970 dodge cahallenger western sport special , it's a factory bucket seat center console car! It was built at the Los Angeles plant and sold new in North Hollywood. It has lived in the (rust free) Los Angeles area since new! It still retains its original California blue plates and dealer plate frames. It has its original 318 V8 engine gone through - miled cam , headers , 4 brl carb,performer rpm intake , runs and drives great and everything works (lights-etc) . I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country! The interior should be redone ( it's all original,old, and torn in places) ; however I would not repaint it but I guess thats up to the next owner. Clean and clear California title The name 'Western Sport Special' first appeared on 1969 Dodge Darts. In 1970 it was a version of the base Challenger with a package of options at a discounted price. It was released mid-Dec.1969 to the Los Angeles and San Francisco regions and all were built at the LA plant. The fender tag option code for the WSS is A91 and the package cost was just $199.50. For that price you received a Western Sport Special decal on the rear fenders (see photos below), a vinyl roof, a woodgrain instrument panel applique, a remote control mirror, the rim blow steering wheel, sill moldings, belt moldings, front splash pan scoop, cowl molding, rear taillight Astrotone applique, pedals dress-up kit, bumper guards w/rubber inserts and F78x14 inch white side wall tires mounted on 14" Rallye wheels. 1,066 made with a 318 inch V8 engine. On Jul-29-13 at 06:32:27 PDT, seller added the following information: After receiving some questions, apparently I need to clarify that this is a 43 year old car , in original condition. That means the paint is sun faded and old with dings and scratches. The interior is old , sun faded , torn , and should be redone. It a super solid, great running and driving car, however it is 43 years old and not perfect.
