Up for auction is a 1998 BMW 328is. I bought this car for my daughter about 3 years ago and she no longer drives the car. The car has been parked in my driveway for about 6 months. The car is in good condition with the normal wear and tear that you would expect on a car this age. The car runs good and starts immediately. A new battery was installed about two weeks ago when I decided it was time to auction the car. The AC gets cold and works well. The car currently has 155,770 miles on it. The car had the clutch rebuilt, valve cover gasket replaced and oil filter housing replaced about 13,000 miles ago. The stereo unit has been replaced with a Pioneer aftermarket tuner / CD player and sounds good. Now to a few minor issues with the car. The back bumper has a small dent. The dent is not very noticeable and can be seen in the pics. There is a small round speaker that is missing from the passenger door panel. The front bumper lower cowling is a sport model and is pretty low to the ground. At some time the car was backed out of a driveway and partially came off. The cowling has been re-bolted to the car and is solid but does have some damage. The front cowling is also missing the right side amber running light. I saw a new pair of running lights on eBay for about $29 but didn’t have time to order them before I auctioned the car. The rod that holds the engine hood up is missing. I made a rod out of angle steel and you’re welcome to take it with you.
