Vehicle Detail

1972 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 with 4-Speed manual TransmissionFactory Formula 350 with Manual TransmissionOriginal Build Sheet, PHS Documents and Build SheetCar has a 1973 350 in it. I am told the car was returned to the dealer for a warranty replacement; however, do not have documented proof. Also, understand GM was on strike and only produced a small amount of these cars and possibly this car was held up and the engine was installed in 1973? Has a manual 4-Speed TransmissionPurchased car and somebody had painted it red, then yellowBought it originally for my daugher - after restoration decided it was too nice and fast for a new driverCar completely stripped to metal, epoxy primered with new Dupont ChromaBase Paint with correct Revere Silver colorBody on restoration on a rust free bodySolid floors, doors, trunk and frameCorrect Paint colorInterior was originally Ivory. It is now blackAll new weatherstripping, seals, felt strips, wheel moldings, door locks, emblems, rear bumperNew shocks, stablizer bar bushings, New Brakes, TiresMotor rebuiltRuns strong with no non-mechanical issuesDelco 8-Track StereoSolid exhaust system with headersInterior pics to follow (Passenger seat rip is repaired, had a factory console, but such is missing)Factory air conditioning car; however, compressor is missingCar originally sold/delivered to Charlie Harris Pontiac, Clearwater, Florida, USOn Jul-23-13 at 08:12:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Has a Wildwood hydraulic clutch conversion kit installed (hydraulic clutch vs. mechanical clutch)On Jul-23-13 at 18:24:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Added pictures of the interior. One point of clarification....I originally stated the car had a GM 8-Track Player. The stereo I intended to put in it was broken, so it has a new "state of the art" Pyramid stereo in it from the 80's - not hooked upOn Jul-28-13 at 19:14:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Have had quite a few questions, and have attached a summary of the answers applicable to such:Car runs & drives; would not be concerned about driving it anywhereHas the gage package which includes the tachometer and the clock. The tachometer, voltage and temperature gages work. The speedometer and the gas gage works intermittent (it appeared to be working, but when I filled it up with gas yesterday, it went to the extreme right and has not moved since)Has a 1973, 350 V8 in it with what appears to be a Borg Warner Super T-10 TranmissionMotor was rebuilt about 2 years ago, then the car set, and then the paint/refresh was done. It has all new plugs, wires, cap, pcv values, etc. I believe it has a mild cam. Runs very strong & the exhaust in very solid and ready to rollIf I kept it, what would I want to do to it?Has manual brakes - I would install 4 wheel disk & power brakesPurchase the Ram Air Cleaner AssemblyReinstall air conditioner compressor & make air operationalRepair speedometer and fuel gagePull passenger seat and have patch/tap repair fixedInstall a factory radio and put a factory stereo system in the glove box with amp/speakersI am not sure what you could do, but I am not thrilled with waves/deformations in a factory fiberglass hoodPossibly install a console - I kind of like it without one
