Up for auction is a B5 blue 440 4-Speed 1969 Plymouth GTX. This is a numbers-matching car, with the numbers on the radiator support matching the VIN along with the matching numbers on the motor (I do have the build sheet, but the fender tag was misplaced during the restoration process and has not been found). The car still has its original 3.55 Dana rear end with factory manual front disc brakes and power steering. This is a fairly high-optioned car including all-tinted glass, wood-grain steering wheel, factory AM/FM radio with an extremely rare factory oil gauge. The car has been completely professionally restored to show-quality including new vinyl top, new headliner, reupholstered seats with the correct pattern and new carpet. It has a brand new fuel tank with a brand new factory-correct reproduction 3/8 stainless steel fuel line. All brand new 2 1/2" exhaust with California Turbo mufflers with the correct factory chrome tips. The complete brake system is new from the master cylinder to all four wheels. The car has had both rear quarter panels replaced with full quarter panels (not half-panels). It was actually in very decent shape to begin with but decided to put nice, new straight and solid quarter panels on it, but looking at them and from inside and underneath the car you would never be able to tell it has had any work done. The rest of the sheet metal is all original including the fenders, doors, floors, frame rails, etc. All of the doors, fenders and quarter panels line up perfect as they should, the doors open and close beautiful as they should. It does have a fiberglass lift-off hood which was my preference as I have always liked that look. I do have the original hood that will go with the car. It has 15-inch Magnum 500 wheels all the way around and recently just had all new radial tires put on it. All the chrome is brand new and in excellent condition including the bumpers. The motor is the original numbers-matching 440 motor to the car that was rebuilt and runs excellent with approximately 2,000 miles on it, with a new 3-core Champion aluminum radiator with the factory shroud, new clutch, and Hurst Competition Plus shifter.
