This car has had two owners. Car has had every BMW maintenance item on time by licensed providers since leaving the factory. I had intended to drive this car beyond 500,000 miles but I stupidly left the car out of gear without giving the brake a hard set. It rolled down a hill in neutral into a large pine tree. This caused the damage to the right rear panel, trunk lid and fender. The right rear bumper moved up almost to the tire. The car is drivable and it is repairable but I can not justify the cost to my family. I do NOT want to junk the car but may be forced to do so just to make space. Tires have less than 5k on them. New battery. I had just had both power seats upgraded. There is a great deal that can be salvaged from the car for parts! BUT, there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THE POWERTRAIN. This would be perfect restore for someone with the tools or ideal base for a kit car. This car was very well maintained. I would like to see someone give it a second life.
